OK, in an effort to make things a bit more lively here I thought I'd start a new conversation.

So how was everybody's summers? Restful? Any vacations (none or closer nearby because of the U.S. economy)? Difficulties?

I went to Las Vegas for the first time in my life. Oye! It was possible to find less expensive hotels, but once there, even without gambling (which I did very little of), it was possible to spend LOTS of money. Why was I surprised?

One of my friends who traveled with me said, "Joe, this is the real America."

Anyway, it was an experience, that's for sure. Anyone been there and enjoyed yourself?
